SHIPPING POLICY

General Information 

At GASCo, we prioritize the swift processing and delivery of all orders. Our goal is to ensure that your package reaches you as quickly and securely as possible. 

Shipping Process 

  • Order Processing: All orders are shipped within 24 hours of payment, excluding weekends, holidays, or any unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters.
  • Courier Service: We utilize a third-party courier service for all deliveries. While we strive to ensure a smooth shipping process, please note that once the package is in the hands of the courier, delivery times are beyond our control.
  • Shipping Issues: Should any issues arise during transit, we will assist where possible. However, we ask for your understanding, as much of the shipping process falls outside of our direct control.
  • Courier Contact: For any questions regarding delivery times or issues, please contact the courier service directly. It’s also important to ensure that you provide a valid South African phone number, as the courier may need to contact you for delivery confirmation.

Courier Costs 

The GASCO standard courier cost is R99 per order.

Ordering Process 

  1. Select Products: Choose your products and proceed to checkout.
  2. Provide Information: Enter your delivery address, including your suburb and a contactable cell phone number.
  3. Order Reservation: Stock is reserved for 24 hours from the time of order. Unpaid orders will expire after this period.
  4. Payment Methods:
    – Payment can be made via EFT, direct bank deposit, or cash deposit.
    – Ensure that you use your order number as the reference when making payment.
    – Proof of payment must be emailed to us for confirmation.
    – Payments made on the website are processed by our payment processor and confirmed immediately.
  5. Order Confirmation: After receiving your payment, an email confirmation will be sent, along with the order number. 

Delivery Information 

  • No Deliveries to P.O. Boxes or PostNet Branches: All deliveries are made directly to physical addresses.
  • Delivery Method: We offer door-to-door delivery within South Africa via a courier service. We also offer a PUDO (Pick-Up-Drop-Off) option for added flexibility.
  • Packaging: All orders are packaged discreetly, ensuring that the contents are not visible.
  • Address Accuracy: It is essential to provide an accurate physical address and a valid South African phone number. GASCo cannot be held responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information provided.

Delivery Times 

  • Orders are shipped Monday to Friday.
  • Same Day Shipping: Orders placed and paid for by 13h00 will be shipped the same day.
  • Next Day Shipping: Orders placed after 13h00 will be shipped the following business day.
  • Weekend and Holiday Shipping: Orders placed after 13h00 on Fridays will be shipped the following Monday.
  • Delivery Window: Deliveries typically take 24-72 working hours after dispatch, depending on the location.
  • Tracking: Waybill and tracking information will be provided.
  • No Weekend or Public Holiday Deliveries: Please note that deliveries are not made on weekends or public holidays.

Delivery Address & Proof of Delivery 

  • Delivery Confirmation: The person receiving the parcel at the nominated address is presumed to be the authorized recipient unless specified otherwise.
  • Incorrect Address: GASCo will not be held responsible for any parcels delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • Risk of Loss: Title and risk of the package pass to the customer upon delivery.

Undeliverable Packages 

  • Re-Delivery: If a package cannot be delivered, the courier will attempt re-delivery.
  • Return to Sender: If the package remains undelivered, it will be returned to GASCo at the customer’s expense. Any re-delivery requests will incur additional costs.

Guaranteed Shipping 

In the unlikely event that your package is lost during transit, our Guaranteed Shipping Policy ensures that you are covered. Please contact us immediately if such a situation occurs, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.
